Všechno to začalo v Divadle na Vinohradech u hudby k inscenaci Poprask na laguně. Kdo tohle představení viděl, ví, o čem je řeč. A právě teď se tahle hudba přesouvá z divadelních prken na drážky gramofonových desek. Aby ale album mohlo fyzicky vyjít, potřebujeme vás. Benátky tak, jak je neznáte
Od nového alba nečekejte žádnou uhlazenou studiovku. Je to jízda do Itálie 18. století. Shahab do hudby otiskl staré italské dialekty a rytmy, které kdysi zněly v přístavních tavernách a úzkých uličkách benátské laguny. Z téhle nahrávky je zkrátka cítit moře, temperament a nezaměnitelný divadelní nádech.
