Why to choose private online guitar lessons over group courses
All methods of learning guitar are good but which one is the best for you depends on your needs. If you want to compete with others, learn to play guitar in pairs or through group guitar courses. But if you prefer to work on your technique and have immediate feedback on how much you have improved or whether you have problems that you still need to work on, choose private guitar lessons.
For such an approach you can visit your teacher for in-person guitar learning. In our case, you can have online video lessons. During those tutoring meetings you will have real-time communication. From our experience personal contact motivates and ensures maximum clarity about what exactly you should practice. What will you learn during this guitar course
As you have probably noticed, you are on the personal website of Shahab Tolouie. As a performing musician he is the founder of EthnoFlamenco style. It is a dynamic guitar style which uses the undeniably amazing techniques of the flamenco style, but doesn’t stop there and opens the broader horizon by fusing this great style with various other cultures from the route where flamenco historically came from. This is certainly an exciting and joyful journey with lots to explore and learn by anyone:
Beginners level: you will learn extensive fundamental flamenco guitar techniques. Through this very unique and un-orthodox method you will get the fundamental expression skills which prepares you for the next intermediate level.
Intermediate level: The main goal here is to identify your playing abilities and individually tailor exercises to the level where you can improvise and above all to compose your own pieces and shape your own musical language.
How online in-person guitar lessons work
We use Zoom and Google Meet. These apps allow you to record lessons and watch/repeat them at a later time while practicing.
During and after each lesson you also receive feedback on how successfully you’ve done your task. So, if necessary, you can correct your mistakes during the lessons or in between. And what is most important, you do not have to be afraid that on-line community will see your first exercises uploaded to a common space where other students can see them.
Course types:
*One-to-one online course (1 time per week)
*One-to-one Intensive online guitar lessons
*Group online lessons (only possible if you are two people with similar guitar skills who want to learn guitar together) this could be a possible start of a new band for you.
Payment basis: three-month, six-month, or annual.
Languages: English, Czech, Farsi, Spanish
Frequency and intensity of learning need to be discussed during the first meeting.
