COVID-19 Lockdown is Over. We’re Back on the Road

On March 2020 the world hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequences of the lockdown. Those who could, began to work from home. Others, whose daily life was on the road, suddenly became locked up in their homes 24/7.

Musicians, dancers, artists, theatres, clubs and festivals had to face their most difficult times with nobody to perform for.
We, similar to almost every other band, had to deal with our own challenges caused by the lockdown. All our performances from March till end of June were cancelled or postponed. Due to Covid-19 lockdown, we couldn’t go outside, just on essential cases. And guess, band rehearsals isn’t a life essential event. So, all our communications went on-line and our rehearsals became virtual.

Nowruz Festival

Nowruz is also known as Persian New Year and dating back over 3000 years. It falls exactly on the day of the Spring Equinox. And its message is international: we celebrate new life, awakening of nature, new beginnings and the end of the winter. More than 300 million people of various nations celebrate Nowruz worldwide. Among them are countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, Albania, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and many more.

The organizer of the festivities in Prague Mr. Shahab Tolouie points out: “To mark the 10th anniversary of the official recognition and inclusion of Nowruz in the immaterial UNESCO Cultural Heritage, from this point on we want to organize more events around this date such as seminars, workshops and concerts to transform the event into a true multicultural festival.”

New Song on Lyrics of Simin Behbahani in Commemoration of 90th Anniversary of the Lioness of Iran

We are delighted to announce the international release of “Let Me Die”, both as single and videoclip. The song composed by Shahab Tolouie at the beginning of 2017. The lyrics is a beautiful ghazal by the prominent Iranian contemporary poet, lyricist and activist, twice nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature, the late Simin Behbahani, whose birthday is on July 19th.

New Single/Video Set to be Released in 10 days

July 19th, (tir 28th by Persian calendar), is the release date for Shahab’s new single/video “Let Me Die”. Song composed at the beginning of this year. And performed live for the first time at Nowruz 2017 celebration concert in Prague.
The track features well known Iranian percussionist Habib Meftah Boushehri on percussions and back vocal, as well as the band members. The videoclip shot earlier in Prague.
